Introduction
Good teaching occurs when people are learning. People learn when the instructor’s approach to curriculum and presentation focuses on effective learning techniques with solid materials and interesting topics.
After getting his Masters Degree, Wayne dedicated himself to learning how to get people to learn. He obtained the Diploma of Adult Education from Vancouver Community College. He has applied those techniques in dozens of workshops and a number of college level courses.
Since getting that diploma in 2004, Wayne has prepared his own series of workshops and courses, including Conflict and Leadership; Circles; Restorative Discipline for Schools; Conflict Management; and Conflict Transformation. He has taught courses based on materials from different schools and agencies including Menno Simons College at Canadian Mennonite University; the College of New Caledonia and Northern Lights College. Courses range from a half day of leadership training, up to the 36 hour Interpersonal Conflict course. A sample of Wayne’s courses is listed in his Resume.
Workshops can be tailored to suit specific purposes and groups. They often precede or follow a workplace mediation. Please inquire at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
